Comments: This region of Cassiopeia as a pervasive veil of dust. It has darker knots of the molecular cloud, such as LDN 1325, but most of teh dust is diffuse. It can be seen here as a slight greyish haze in the stellar background. This dust has caused some blue extinction making the open cluster a slight magenta hue.

The color data image may be seen here and also contains objects such as the HII region Sh2-187 and open cluster NGC 609.
